Robert Mitchell (Composer/Lyricist/Book) Prior to his 2005 production of They All Knew, which received critical acclaim from The New York Times, The New Yorker, and others. Mr. Mitchell's most recent theatrical production, Vincent, based on the life and letters of VanGogh, won the OOBR AWARD for "BEST MUSICAL" of the 2003/2004 season in New York City. Other musicals include Rappaccini's Daughter - produced at Music Theatreworks in Palo Alto, Ca. the former Whole Theatre Co. in Monlclair. NJ. and Wings Theatre. Bags, produced off-Broadway by actress/producer Lee Grant, and Lone Star, commissioned by the Mary Moody foundation and performed at the Moody State Theatre in Galveston. Texas, was recorded by members of the London Philharmonic Orchestra. The dramatic song cycle One Man, Two Minds, commissioned by "Meet The Composer", originally performed by Golden Fleece Ltd., was broadcast live on WQXR radio (NYC). Mr. Mitchell has also written several film scores and a documentary for PBS TV, a latin-jazz arrangement of The Carmen Ballet - commissioned by the Chicago Ballet Co. and was music director for several European tours
